- 2005 - Fats Domino was rescued from his home in New Orleans during flooding from hurricane Katrina.
- 2005 - Josh Homme of Queens of the Stone Age collapsed after a show in Hamburg, Germany from exhaustion.
- 2005 - Garbage cancelled their European tour saying that they had overextended themselves.
- 2007 - The Police began the European leg of their reunion tour in Stockholm, Sweden.
