• 1968 - The movie A Time to Sing, starring Hank Williams, Jr. debuted.
• 1969 - The opening day of the Woodstock Festival featured Richie Havens, Sweetwater, Bert Sommer, Ravi Shankar, Tim Hardin, Melanie, Arlo Guthrie and Joan Baez.
