- 1965 - During a Rolling Stones concert, a girl fell from the balcony but escaped serious injury when the crowd below broke her fall.

- 1973 - During a show at New York's Max's Kansas City where Columbia Records was to announce the signing of Bruce Springsteen, the label boss, John Hammond, had a heart attack.
